THE TEACHER WHO LIGHTS THE WORDS

the way she turns simple words
into something warm and bright.

She guides us through each sentence,
with patience soft and true,

she shows us what to do.

Her little jokes between the lines
make learning feel like play,

seem easier that way.

But when our class turns wild and loud,
and rules begin to fall,
her voice becomes a steady guide—
firm, yet caring for us all.

She teaches more than grammar,
more than stories, poems, or prose;
she teaches us to think with heart,
and watch how kindness grows.

So here’s to the teacher who shapes our minds
