Success Wears Dusty Shoes

Success Wears Dusty Shoes

Success does not arrive in silk,
It comes in dust and stubborn will.
It smells of ink and midnight oil,
Of restless dreams and patient toil.

It hides inside a broken plan,
Inside “I can’t”… becoming “I can.”
It laughs when storms begin to shout,
And builds small bridges over doubt.

It trips on stones along the way,
Yet learns from every fall each day.
With scraped-up knees and hopeful grin,
It says, “Try once more. You might just win.”

Success is not a flashing crown,
Not every time you don’t fall down.
It’s rising up with steady breath,
And daring fear to do its best.

It’s waking early, trying late,
Refusing doors that whisper “wait.”
It’s choosing courage over ease,
Planting effort like tiny seeds.

And slowly, quietly, roots grow deep,
Through silent nights when others sleep.
No trumpet sounds, no fireworks bright,
Just inner stars that shine at night.

Then one fine day you turn around,
And see how far your steps have found.
The climb, the tears, the hopeful guess,
Were shaping you into success.

For success is not a distant prize,
It’s fire that dances in your eyes.
It’s every brave and trembling start,
That turns a dream into a heart.
