Surrendered Soul...

 It's been long

Since I have written

Poured the thoughts

Onto the paper

Or this screen.

Wasted my time

In just-scrolling

Knowing a lot

Feeling nothing.

All the senses

Worked properly.

But the sense of emptiness

Overshadowed them all.

It's really been long

I didn't write, 

Couldn't actually.

Thousands of thoughts

Came to the mind

Seeking my attention

But I was lost enough

To lose them.

Yes, it's been long

I chose not to write

'Cause writing makes

Permanent impressions

Hard to forget.

But those lingering emotions

Reappeared

Tormenting, instigating me

Forcing me to feel

That I wanted to avoid.

So, this is what

I have composed 

A poem, of 

Incoherent thoughts,

Narrative of my

Surrendered soul.
