The Sun in the Sky

The sun in the sky, her vibrant face 

Melts me whole, her glittery gaze 

Her cuddly cheeks, perfect for a kiss 

Her cheery self, the bringer of bliss 

 

Her joyful smile, the saviour of the day 

Her jocund company does make me gay  

A caring guide who always has my back 

Building on to the skills that I lack 

 

A day without her is never done 

Tons of frolic, feats, and fun 

With my forever friend hanging out ain't rough 

Is 100% cool, ain't no simple bluff  

 

Once, tugging her hand, I treaded 

Walking alone was what I dreaded  

But a gentle nudge from her urged me front 

To neither look back and nor to grunt  

 

Taught me how life is precious 

To always be kind and gracious  

As I climb the stairs to reach my dream 

I know that a pride will enlighten her gleam  

 

God couldn't be everywhere, so he brought mothers!!!
