The closest star to Earth, our sun!
It is the reason behind the existence of all,
Though it is mighty, it is to whom we thank a ton!
It has a mixture of colors, yellow, orange, and red,
It is vital for the growth of trees!
It protects us from the chilly conditions like a cozy shed,
It starts the water cycle right from the seas!
Covered with spots on its surface,
It sometimes sends particles bursting during a flare!
It warms us with its tender rays,
and pulls the earth towards its care!
It lies in the solar system's center,
around which the planets are safely hung!
It is kind, It is caring as it gives us shelter,
about our lovely sun, all the praises are sung!
