The Sacred Holi

Woohoo! It's time for India's one more festival,

To spread some colourful love bubble,

That even the foe become the dearer,

Frolicking with colour and water terror.

The Holika and Prahlada folklore,

Being commemorated as Holika Dahan a day before,

By burning of clay hurts, bonfires or cowdung cakes,

On the evil, the victory of good overtakes.

The sad Lord Krishna by His complexion,

Being directed by the Yashoda Maiya in His desperation,

Coloured the Radha in His own Identism,

And the colourful Holi is played in Their lovely Idealism.

All the dear ones being gathered,

Holi greetings and sweets being shared.

Rollicking with colour-water guns and balloons on the ground,

Everywhere playing folk being found.

On such a colourful and joyous Holi,

Wishing you and your family,

A Balloon full of positivity,

To burst around you all the negativity.

Alongwith prosperous life and wealth,

May HE shower on you the HOLY water full of health.
