The Night Sky
The Night Sky
I wondered sitting under the night sky,
How would it be, if I could fly high,
I'll get closer to the moon ablaze,
With the clouds I'll float, over the bays,
Gazing at the waves, sparkling in moonlight,
I'll dwell in the darkness of the night.
All of a sudden, swift breeze touched my hair,
I looked down, and saw the beauty lying there,
I realised, walking barefoot on the grass,
That nature is the real epitome of elegance.
I saw the river running merrily and free,
I saw the crisp leaves, falling from the tree,
Heard the night birds chirping softly,
Beheld the surrounding hills, calm and lofty,
And then I learned a well concealed secret,
That each of us are somehow stuck in a deep rut.
We all dream of touching the sky.
Not Only because it's vast and high.
Not only because the stars will be anigh.
It's because we'll see mother nature from above,
This is what we want and this is what we love.
beauty is in the simplicity, in the colour brown.
The eternality lies in the soil we're living upon.
