The Mystic Man
The Mystic Man
He was a mystic man
A man who came to my dreams
And knocked me out of me
And took me into the gleam
My man took me in his arms
Took me into the blue
He put his eyes into mine
And said softly ‘I love you’
He mobbed me with precious feelings
Taught me what is love
Love to me was a mere thing
Till I knew it is blessed from above!
I gave me my life into his hands
And I let myself go
Blue sky, green pastures, crystal clear streams
Beauty and divinity was there in the show.
What was it that encircled my soul
And pushed me into the heart of green
Like some slow, rhythmic music
Which showered upon me like some golden sheen.
Clear-cut with a crystal heart
I moved along with him
Throughout the way, I wandered away
Till I awoke from the dreams!
The smile was still there in me
When I awoke....
I gathered my arms and embraced myself
And thought about those lines that he spoke!
