The Mysterious Purple Pen
The Mysterious Purple Pen
Once I found a purple pen
It was lying on my table one morning
As hard as I tried to remember
I couldn't, even after brain storming
I picked it up and lo behold
It sparkle and shone with an unseen glow
As soon as I put it on paper
It began scribbling with an ardent flow
It wrote down my thoughts
And dreams deep and dark
It poured out my feelings
Buried deep in my heart
The purple ink flowed
With a feverish passion
As I tried to hide
All my secrets and emotions
But the pen was reluctant
To let go of my soul
The more I resisted
The more it stole
My dreams and my hopes
My evil thoughts and deeds
The pen bared it all
For one and all to see
I was ashamed of
What appeared on the paper
Some facts and figures
Were new even to me, it would appear
Just as the pen was about to write
The name of my secret love, I had hidden
I woke up with a start and realized
It was only a dream I had forbidden
It dawned upon me that day
No one is a Saint, everyone has vices
Some use them to grow
Some stifle them as unheard voices
The purple pen of my dreams
Showed me my true reflection
The purple ink it used
Was a spiritual reconnection!
