The Lost Passion

Everyone has unique dreams

We dream and fantasise about it

We work hard to achieve it

Sometimes, our dreams might not come true

We will have to let them go

For the sake of the greater good

We hang up our passion

And settle for a safer job

This might provide us with a stable income

But we can never let it go

Somewhere within us

There is a nudge

A tinge of regret

An anticipation of hope

Yet we move on

To accomplish our duty
