The Lady In White
The Lady In White
On the dark and misty night,
When no one is in sight,
There comes the lady in white,
Walking into the castle,
Dark-haired and with misty eyes.
But no one knows what secret she hides,
She comes for something long lost, they say,
Her name is unknown, and her spirit has flown,
When she walks, no words escape her lips,
Perhaps of her long-lost past, she wants a glimpse.
Her heart is cold as snow,
But her story, no one knows.
Once long ago, she was a beautiful dame,
And always had a smile through shine and rain.
But when God took the people she loved,
And life took its toll,
She left for the world above.
Now, still in the castle, she roams,
Longing for lost love, all alone...
