The Immeasurable Distance
The Immeasurable Distance
Some distance is so much,
Nothing could match them;
The only way is to feel it,
Through hearts and mind.
But why does it happen,
That a bond breaks;
Making it irreparable,
And creating the distance.
After a measure of time,
Efforts go vain,
When it is tried to mend,
And make the length closer.
Every ounce of a relationship,
Counts its worth in its terms;
Be it of blood or not,
What matters is faith and trust.
Should there be always an effort,
To make the flame rise and glow,
The wick that burns is time,
Amidst the candle of life.
