Trust

Trust spread its hands,

to embrace the truth;

while stricken by pains of lies,

pulled down with disbelief.

Smiles turned mystic,

unsolved and hidden;

creating a thin line,

between cheer and sorrow.

The marks were still red,

with the injury within;

getting pale each day,

striking a chord beneath.

Gripped with anger,

and a blanket of fear;

the fire raged to fight,

but felt helpless at first.

Battling against the odds,

it was indeed quite hard;

but time kept weighing,

both with scars and heals.

With each tiny effort,

embraced with trust;

dreams turned real,

over the path of life.
