The Grey-Cloaked Chevalier

The Grey-Cloaked Chevalier

On the misty night of winter solstice,

Walked a figure on the streets laden with ice.

Invading the obsidian Woodland with a great zeal,

In a grey robe with his head under the silver curtain veil.

He had long, wavy, raven hair gathered at the back of his head,

His eyes were hazel grey, with verve and fervour inbred.

He wore an onyx-embedded wristlet in his left hand,

And a platinum-Star Jade was tugged on his waistband.

He raised his cinereous Dragon Crescent blade,

And led the Abaddon manor's formidable cavalcade.

They charged through the Grim-Realm Alley,

And annexed the truculent monster's Valley.

The troops stood around in a formation to slay,

But they were trapped in the soul devouring array.

The grey-robed warrior held his crescent blade high,

And extirpated the enemy lancers without a sigh.

He commanded his cavalrymen to activate the magnetic dissolving rune,

That buried all the soul snatching needles in the iron-rich sand dune.

Then to lure the sanguivorous Behemoth out of his hinterland,

He gashed his palm and sprinkled his blood on the sand.

The Behemoth was mesmerized by the scent of ichor,

As for him the blood was like a sweet fragrant liquor.

To guzzle this ambrosial ale, he barreled across the Everglade,

Pounced upon the chevalier to block him from picking up his blade.

To defeat the Behemoth, he summoned his beast, the Sable-maned Sphinx,

And cast the spell to absorb the vitality of the Behemoth inside his onyx.

The Behemoth with all his energy being drained out laid helpless on the ground,

With his demonic vein being ruptured, the ectoplasm kept dripping from his wound.

The Behemoth capitulated to the Grey knight and implored him to spare his weanling,

Who would inherit the throne of his empire and rule the fiend fiefdom as their king.

The Grey-cloaked chevalier proposed a pact to accept his request,

Which stated the de-demonization of the heir of the demonic bequest.

De-demonization is a bloodcurdling and a soul-exhausting technique,

Where manifold crystal shards pierce the bones and injure the internal physique.

It emanates the demonic effluvium from the meridians and gives a nasty fatigue.

Which enervates the demonic force and results in a travail so unbearably unique.

A neonate with almost no inner power can hardly survive,

As such an excruciating affliction won't let him remain alive.

So the Behemoth transfused all his remaining internal energy into his offspring,

And to combat the cathartic gehenna, he gave him his inner-force radiating ring.

The Behemoth used this ring to collect the inner forces of those, he had killed before,

Thus the ring on need can circulate the stored inner force inside the demonic core.

The Behemoth for his enormities was slaughtered as a sacrifice,

And the knight in grey reprieved the demonic child as per the armistice.

Though the soldiers of the Abaddon's clan insisted on detaining the young fiend,

But the Gray-robed General won't go back on his words as he was self-esteemed.

Yet few of them wanted to eradicate the descendant of the devil race,

So, they surreptitiously took the little devil to immolate him in a sinister place.

But the tables turned as the young imp metamorphosed into the Adult Behemoth,

As his bone-constricting skill had deceived everyone by shrinking the size of mammoth.

The soldiers realised that they had been double-crossed by the wicked clan,

And discovered that all those events a while ago were a part of the devil's plan.

So the one who just got assassinated was actually the Ogre of the demonic clique,

While the real Behemoth stayed hidden under the manoeuvre so profound and mystique.

The Abaddons then quickly lauched the crimson flare over the crest of the hill,

To inform their commander about the heinous scheme and the impending peril.

The commander in gray was looking after other soldiers while being on the standby,

He immediately summoned his golden-winged Griffin just as the spark pierced the sky.

Sadly, prior to the moment when the grey knight with his leftover troops turned up,

Their heavenly blood and flesh had already become a ghoulish regale-and-sup.

Witnessing his militia's pogrom, the General locked a lethal azimuth,

Vowing to erase the demonic lineage of the blood-thirsty behemoth.

He ordered the remaining Abaddon army to fight till their last breath,

And avenge their comrade-in-arms by putting the sadistic beasts to death.

The Abaddon troops and their General infiltrated foyer of the Demonic citadel,

While the firedrake ignited the incendiary to banish the residual Abaddons to hell.

The Abaddons were trapped in the vitality-burning flames of the infernal fire,

Yet the Griffin protected them by engulfing the raging flames of the diabolical pyre.

The General broke in bitter anguish beholding his clan struggling in the deadly strife.

With even the Griffin losing its spiritual vitality and failing to sustain its life.

This holocaust would neither let them live and nor let them die in peace,

Hence, the gray-robed knight massacred them to let them die with ease.

The General stained his hands with the blood of his own clade,

In turn, he severed his neck with his Dragon Crescent Blade.

And so, the mankind cannot be judged as simply pitch black or pure white,

For a crepuscular hue cuts through the light and dark to reflect a heretical knight.
