The Grass And My Bed
The Grass And My Bed
I lay down in the grass, my eyes closed,
With tulips on my left and a book on my right,
I breathe in the breeze,
I listen to the sprinklers,
The sun is burning from my right,
The birds on my left, are singing the carols from other night,
I rest in the middle of this vista,
I wrap myself in the burbling river,
The mountains are turning white, on my right,
The trees on my left, are whispering secrets of the jungle,
I lay down in the bed, my eyes open,
With remote on my left and a coffee mug on my right,
The roads were silent but the birds were chirping,
I then realized the feeling,
Of our mother Earth healing.
