The Golden Sunset
The Golden Sunset
As I walk, towards the golden sunset,
Nothing to remember and nothing to forget.
I have done my part in this world so wide,
Come up to expectations and satisfied my pride.
Had many a foes and only a few true friends,
Life has been full of hurdles and many a sharp bends.
Now I remember my childhood and my father's loving embrace,
Mummy's loving kisses and that wonderful smile on her face.
I'm finally going back, for now and ever more,
For, beyond the golden sunset, lies heaven's golden door.
