Forgotten Memories

Deep within your heart

there lies a confined little space,

of things you don't think of anymore;

a forgotten LOVE, a forgotten FACE.

Years have gone by

and your tears have dried.

It would only hurt if you remember;

your loneliness and the way you cried.

It's best you don't venture there;

for the quest would end in pain.

The grief would poison your mind

and leave you crying....

             crying in the RAIN.
