The Giant's Garden

The Giant's Garden

2 mins

Once there lived a giant in the city,

He was so selfish and scary,

We have heard of him through many,

He had a garden which was heavenly,

It was loved by everybody!

Flowers bloomed all day in spring,

And children loved to play and swing,

For every passerby on the road,

It was a beautiful sight to behold!

The giant was in awe of his own garden,

Didn't wish to share with any adult or children,

He was selfish and didn't love anyone!

Everyone eagerly waited for him to depart,

To enter the garden and cheer up their heart,

He would return filled with rage,

Sight of people in his garden he would always hate!

He erected a wall of great height,

So, no one would enter even if they tried with all their might!

With no bustling of children, you know,

The flowers withered with sorrow,

The leaves turned as white as snow,

The plants refused to grow.

The beautiful garden turned pale,

Then came the powerful hail,

Seeing this, the giant was frail,

He longed for spring's arrival with a wail!

The spring arrived everywhere, but not in his garden,

The flowers bloomed, but not in his garden,

The birds chirped, but not in his garden,

The giant could no longer find beauty in his garden!

One day, when the children secretly entered through a hole,

The giant woke up to see a new glow,

Beautiful melody and a lovely fragrance,

The giant's hatred and anger melted at once,

The garden glowed with laughter and grace,

Giant broke the wall and welcomed all with an embrace,

He showered his love with a happy face!

Love is a powerful force,

It can unite everyone,

Its bond is very unique,

It can end hatred and bring a change in anyone!
