The Flood

Teardrops are wiped out

By back of her hand,

She is broken from inside

Also too afraid to stand,

She finds dark corners

To hide her dozens of scars,

Her soul is beaten till blood

By thousands of human wars,

Her eyes never lied

For justice, for her right,

Her fake painted smile

Tells the story of her fight,

Billions of galaxies she carries within

She is stronger than the flood,

Hope she will find the way to fight back

With the animals of cold blood.
