The Farmer

The farmer called a rancher cropper or cultivator tills the land

Fills the land, waters the soil and toils endlessly

Sows the seeds and ploughs the field 

Works hard like the oxen and waits for the token called crop 

Sprays the crops with water and prays to God for more rainwater to feed us all

But what does he get in return for this all?

Debt, misery and death due to starvation

Isn't it time for self analysation?

Wake up and do something for the farmer
