The Evening Of A Day
The Evening Of A Day
The sky shows red,
With a tint of purple.
The sun is setting,
Only showing a semi-circle.
The wind is howling,
Making deep sounds.
The birds are flying,
Happily in rounds.
The trees are rustling,
Shedding the old leaf.
The water is flowing,
Quickly in streams.
The mountains are shining,
With a heavenly glow.
The animals are hurrying,
To their holes and burrows.
The evening is going,
With the arrival of the night.
Coaxing the nocturnals awake,
Driving some to sleep tight.
