The Earth Laughs

As the snow melts, revealing beautiful frozen pine cones underneath it

And caterpillars lie on the green grass that has showed up again

The cold Earth wakes up, after a stormy winter, to complete bliss

And the springtime hour brings Earth back to life.

The sight of birds flying and bees humming

Reminds us how much we missed this time of the year

You can cut all the flowers, but you can't keep spring from coming

Or stop the beautiful sunbeam breaking through the clear atmosphere.

After every winter, a beautiful spring is sure to come

The Earth laughs through purple lilac flowers

Be happy and listen to the crickets gently hum

For spring is a blessing in the form of miraculous flower showers.
