What a web these wires weave,
Everyone connects, no pause or grieve,
This is the wonder, you'll believe,
Of this digital world we receive.

Faces stream upon the screen,
Though far, they screen so keen,
A flowing ocean, of data deep,
New feelings byte, while secrets keep.

Relationships, virtually defined,
Friends now pixels, one of a kind,
Emotions shared, inter-wired,
Sometimes a touch of sadness, desired.

Machines extend their reign, a digital rein,
Humanity, chained to their domain,
Come, let's ponder, and attain,
How its next shape, we'll digitally ordain
