The Demon

Do you feel it deep inside?

There it sits waiting for you to abide

The Demon will bring you down quite inexplicably

The dirty devil will show you its ways

There will be no forgiveness no foray

When it's your soul it will rip and flay

An entity that pulls your strings to do its bidding

The evil dark will strip away your sympathy

Forcing an unkind hand to stab a friend in the back

It will slowly devour any good from within

Having a lack of options to get out

Causing you to relent its exist

Master deceiver, you cannot escape its grip

Seizing any happiness you may

Its skillful ways will break God's brightest angels bringing them to obey

Quickly stripping away any given grace

Once you dance with this dark abyss

He will lead you to hell's fiery pits

To burn the sins from his commands

That, your lack of faith did hand
