The Day I Saw A Dragon

One day, as I was just passing by,

I thought I saw something unusual soar across the sky.

 

When I lifted my head and squinted my eye,

I could see a dragon as it was soaring by!

 

It was the biggest creature I had ever seen,

Flapping its wings, which were covered in green.

 

I pointed at the sky, and shouted aloud,

And before I knew it, I had gathered a crowd.

 

“It’s a dragon!!”, they said. “And a large one too.”

“They really do exist, I can’t believe it’s true!!”

 

Just then the dragon emitted a roar,

Flapped its wings and gave out more.

 

It coughed up a few balls of fire,

And with that, it began to fly higher.

 

Then it vanished out of sight in the sparks of red and green,

Gone forever; never to be seen.

 

If you wish to see a dragon – it’s an impossible task,
