The Child
The Child
Holding our finger, they steadily
Learn to walk
A little mumbling at first
But they even learn to talk.
Little eyes that see the world through us
Little minds that only know how to trust.
They are the purest form of God
A blessing, a wish granted from above.
Innocent minds see everything so clear
They love everyone whom they find dear.
They might cry out loud
They might laugh it out
They know how to handle
A fall, yet they are up and about.
There is a child inside us
Whom we always keep inside
Who knows how to enjoy and live life.
We are blessed to have them around
Who know the real happiness
Which we keep looking for around.
So, play with them
Laugh out loud
Do go crazy with them
Dance, sing and run around.
It is the best thing that has lots to give
It is the best part of life
Which we always do miss.
