The departing sun

Gently tapped 

On the windowpane,

And peeped in to 

Bid goodbye,

Saying with a smile...

It will be a while

Before I come back

With more sunshine.

Meanwhile, I will

Leave the glow behind

To keep your hearts warm

And nourish your thoughts,

Until I return tomorrow,

To wake you up, 

Tickling you with rays

Of hope and happiness,
