The Chair
The Chair
It was a Sunday morning
I was taking my tea
Sitting on a chair
Reading newspaper as I was free.
Next day was a Monday
In the office relaxing on a chair
Peon came to me and ask
Chairman wanted you in here.
I went to his room
A meeting was in progress
Who will be the chairperson
In the next conference.
From office I came on the road
An election rally was there
Caught in traffic we were discussing
This is all a game of chair.
Came home and I was thinking
Is this fair or unfair
People will do anything
To get to this bloody chair.
The most important chair of the PM
And the chairs around this
To get to one of these
Is every politician's wish.
A chair you get you want one above
For this there is so much fight
I didn't know that the chair
Has so much power and so much might.
