The Artist Within Me

The artist within me is hidden and shadowed,

With remarkable qualities, she is bestowed,

Trapped within, unable to get away, she appears to be burrowed,

She tries to escape the barriers of work-pressure and responsibilities but still remains neglected,

The vibrant colours of paintings, the enthralling poetry and the scenic beauty of nature constantly seem to push me,

The golden sun and the scintillating stars seem to speak... "you'll have to take pains, 

But your zealful scream will prove that your struggles didn't go in vain",

Realizing the fact,

I begin the path within to search for the exact,

I begin the path to find the master key,

filled with anticipation, I begin the path to explore the artist within me.

 Today, I am the master of my sea,

My heart filled with joy to the nth degree, 

And the artist within me doesn't remain a closed book to me.
