What's literacy,

It's something that fills your heart with ecstasy, 

It's a beautiful skill,

Your thoughts, with creativity, it will fill

It's the hope which lights up the darkness,

Your voice, with power, it helps to express, 

It's something which can transform our lives, 

It's something which keeps us alive

Only eighty-six percent possess this talent,

But aren't all of us equivalent?

We are all diamonds with the same glow,

Yet why does this number remain so low?

Let's make this number a century, 

Let's recreate history,

In a world where everyone is literate,

Towards progress, our nation will accelerate
