Tell Them
Tell Them
Tell your daughters,
For women, nothing comes free
For every want, there comes a fight.
Teach your daughters,
How to cry, fall and hide it
For world often mistakes it for weakness
Advise them,
To be dependent on self
For every shoulder, they lean on charges for love
Suggest to them,
To be wild and free as winds
For anything that is fragile breaks
Ask them,
To not get played by people
For every toy is destined to be thrown away
Pray for them,
To remain who they are Strong and beautiful
If not the world will come to an end
