Tears

Tears with pain deep,

Tears as sorrow seeps,

Like the rain that pours out from the cloud,

Like the emotion with pain aloud,

Tears glisten like beads of pearl,

That yearn to find peace in this world,

Thou and me with tears,

Mingled with sorrow and fears,

Like tears of iron, tears of gold,

Tears on my lap, off they rolled,

Deep pain and sorrow,

Happiness I wish I could borrow,

My only friend are my tears,

Hoping one day, these clouds will clear.
