A Winter Evening
A Winter Evening
The snow falls gently upon the ground,
Gently, not making a sound,
Leaves and tops of houses covered with snow,
As the breeze blows,
Snowballs hurled everywhere,
Snowmen here and there,
The fire crackles in the houses,
sheltering folks from the cold,
The snow soon turns to
a blizzard, strong and bold,
Then gradually decreases,
And fun increases,
Kids come out in large groups,
And to the snowmen, the troupe,
They put on their mittens,
And their jacket,
At the fire, cuddles the kittens,
The kids laughing loudly, making a racket,
Then making a snowball,
Having fun, all,
Then rush to their houses, to sip cocoa,
Tired of playing with the snow,
How fun was a winter evening!
Time for playing!
