Tears Of Mine

Tears Of Mine

If God had collected

My tears in a chalice,

He would have rained this entire planet

For every day & for eternity.

If I had filled my tears

In my pen, replacing the ink

I would have written an endless tale

So long & large.

If my pillow spits out

The water it has absorbed from my eyes

It can water my garden

And produce fruits in all seasons.

This life of sorrow is piercing

My eyes every day and bringing out

The pain in my heart as tears outside.

How will I bear this!

My eyes are waiting to see the sunshine

I'm waiting to look at the green meadows.

The plants I've watered crying

Will yield fruits of happiness

For this soul to enjoy!
