It's a pretty sunset,

And I am with you.

You, out of all the people,

I chose you today.

Today, cause it's special.

Stars had conspired

Our meet this day.

With a mushy tone

In your ears.

The euphony of waves

On the shore feel

Like the rhythm of my

Pounding heartbeats.

You smile and push

Few locks of my hair

Behind my ear.

The warmth of your palm

On my cheeks

Softens my cold heart.

The city lights glitter

As you come closer.

I feel your breath as

Darkness envelopes

The Earth and my sight.

A tear trickles down

As I witness the sunset again.

The sun is gone now
