Summer
Summer
The sun shines upon the eager hearts
Children scream while parents dream,
Igniting under brilliance
Is what they’d rather choose
Vibrant fields to roam hand in hand calming seas
Satin sand insensitive as
Water runs her waves cross the shore
In the garden, roses mount for attention
Pouting blooms, floating scents
Or flowery ruler June’s event!
Compelled, I walk the countenance of sunny June
As Mother Nature danced among in her saloon
Of roaming life, that came of youth in early spring
And cherished in maternal warmth beneath her wing.
