Summer Spoke To Winter
Summer Spoke To Winter
Summer spoke to winter
In a subdued tone akin to whisper
"Love me or hate me
I shall diligently follow thee with all power and focus
For I am rich in emotion, a full-blooded thirst
The damage you have caused to the sprawling vistas of nature
By hurling cold and heaps of snow
Shall be redeemed by my warmth
Saplings will grow, life will bloom after a long spell of hibernation
I have a strong companion who exudes heat like a torchbearer
It manages challenges, burns indefinitely,
Needing little to fan it, I am the harbinger of hope
Deeply soaked with the staunch belief the onslaughts,
Hurt and havoc you wreak during your period of stay
Shall be assuaged by my warmth of love, bring in... Much-needed relief."
