Suddenly in childhood

In a moment of suddenly broken sleep at midnight,

I found another life blooming in front of me, 

Like a small island -

Surrounded by green trees,

There, birds sing by sweet whistling ;

A small house in the middle of that quiet, secluded island -

Our house - 

Of childhood. 

Entering that little house, I found 

My middle-aged father reading a newspaper,

Mother is busy cooking, 

And my little sister is wrapping a saree on a doll.

Entering another room, I saw a row of familiar and unfamiliar faces like old manuscripts ;

Many of them are my teachers or lost friends. wearing thick-framed glasses,

 the maths teacher asked 

"What the hell, did you not forget Sridhar Archerya's method And the axioms of Geometry?'

Before finishing his question, Shashibabu asked," can you say, What is called Coriolis force?"

Fanibabu asked, raising his finger," Tell me, when the word 'to' comes after the word 'necessary'?

What a surprise, I'm not getting afraid anymore,

Being engrossed in my heart with happiness, I started running and running, bewildered. 

Running and running, and then, I am flying over the meadows, fields and river.

I want to fly like this,

From now on, this is how I will fly away to another life outside of life where the existence of the 'present' and 'future' is prohibited, 

Only the past will remain.
