Stuck In My Dreams

My old futile dream

Someone somewhere cares

With love as a theme

And for me was always there

A smile around the corner

Lures my naive mind

Picture that perfectly captures

Was a delusion that covered my sight

Priceless diamond drops

The pavement of broken dreams 

Forces me to unstop

Streaming down my cheeks

It’s time to say goodbye 

To everything I have to let go
