Child’s Voice

Each day of life, I know I have the choice,

Will I be true? Will I choose right?

 

Although I am small, you still can hear my voice,

I will bring something worth and will spread light.

 

I will share my voice with others every day,

I will make the choice to stand for right on the way.

 

And as I grow, my voice will become strong,

You will have to hold my hands and walk along.

 

My voice needs acceptance, followed by love,

Give me the assurance and help me to rise above.

 

Yes, this voice can make a difference

A voice that’s clear, a voice that’s kind
