Still Gold..
Still Gold..
Weary and tired you have become
In your search for purpose
Why disregard what you have
Right now, this moment
The world outside has a lot to offer
To quench your thirst to find meaning
The wanderer in you never settles
For grass on the other side is always green
Set your gaze high and grow
As you are wired to challenge the flow
But remember the sleepless nights and solitary days
that you invested in building your today
What you carry in your fist this moment
Are pieces of diamond and gold
Though inglorious they may seem
They are a part of so manys’ dream
Respect what you have built
And carry gratitude in your heart
For you may be worthy of more
But what you have now is still gold
