Spells Of Destiny!

Spells Of Destiny!

3 mins
419

In an old town there exists,

A wish fulfilling well,

Besides an old house,

Where exactly I can’t tell.

In the well there lived a frog,

Who found great joy to see the world

Coz he could give it colours

With the magic ink from the well!

Above the well was a light bulb,

That glowed at night.

A man in the old house saw it

And felt a sense of fright.

The light would turn red and blue

and yellow, it was a sight of respite!

It scared the man though who

didn’t know the frog who used the

magic ink with a certain expedite!

The frog had a gifted prowess

to see through life’s dullness.

So, when he met a girl one day,

He decided to use his magic,

Timeless!

The girl was searching in the town

Her wedding gown and her lost groom.

She was tired and her fair face

had turned brown!

When the girl came near the well,

She weeped all day long.

That is when the frog saw her,

Took his magic ink

and painted her a Christmas bell.

The girl thanked the froggy,

for his gesture but had no inkling

what the bell could do,

She only loved its texture.

The frog went back in the well.

The girl put inside the bell

in her golden purse and

she then walked her way in

search of her groom.

As she fluttered like snow on

The streets of Barcelona,

Her face turned bright as before,

And all the toast was gone!

The man from the old house saw the girl

and summoned her for tea.

She accepted the invitation, and

Went up to him happy and glee.

Not knowing what was in store,

she entered the door of his house;

And saw her wedding gown lying

On the floor. She then remembered

the bell in her purse and forgot her grouse.

She rang the bell in happiness

On a day that seemed so sunny,

but to her surprise, the man vanished

And she found it very funny.

Then, for a moment

There was no light, a heavy wind blew,

And all her worries were gone.

She saw her lost groom in front of her,

As charming as a fawn.

So, then she went back to the well,

To thank the frog who broke

their spell. The frog then painted

a small house with lots of happiness

and loving stories to tell.

She then bid him goodbye so that

she could move on for her journey.

But then stopped to ask his name

and he said, I am Mr. Destiny!
