Sounds Of A Broken Heart

Sitting down, looking back through the memory lane,

Tears again in my eyes & heart filled with pain.

I spent years understanding who is right.

When I met a wrong one, he seemed to be perfectly alright.

He made me smile, he made me laugh,

This was perfect like a dream, I thought, God never do us apart.

My life was none less than a fairy tale,

Lost in laughter forever, I knew, I could sail.

I didn’t realize, I was slowly addicted to a drug, that’s you,

Lucky like me, such people, I felt were very few.

Smiling at each other, for no reason,

Flowers bloomed, we were wet in rain, in every season.

Talking about silly things, we found cute,

Craving for you, after a grave fight was beautiful too.

Nobody else could complete me, the way you used to,

You meant the world to me, that’s all I knew.

Suddenly, I could feel my heart aching,

My heart was broken into pieces & your love was fading.

I was now awake and it was just a dream,

Silence all around, still I could hear my heart scream.

You just walked away and about me, you never bothered to know.

The memories of our happy moments, is all I have under my pillow.

Pieces of my broken heart, hurt me inside and make me insane.

Since you’ve left, take your love too from my blood, my veins.

I feel as if I have been silent for ages,

Undergone the worse of worst life’s stages.

Nobody could hear, but I am mourning, not knowing where to start.

Haunting, are the sounds of a broken heart.
