Soul's Heart
Soul's Heart
Lifelessly, staring at the ceiling, I laid
Quiet as it may appear,
The storm inside me I made.
My little heart suffered intense pain,
I feel the strain.
Tears from my eyes nonresistant drain.
Contemplating the ways to build my heart,
I solely let it break.
Pondering for a while, I visit my heart.
Remorse, teary-eyed I embraced it tight.
Knockdown I brought, I apologized.
Healing with a smile, I assured,
No one will set foot in until it blooms again.
I rendered some time and space to my broken friend,
Hoping someday we both will walk down the lane together again.
