Silence

The hills echo silence 

And so do the winds, 

The buzzing streets 

With throbbing hearbeats, 

In the din and the dusk

And the rusty old dust, 

In the cooing of a baby 

And the mom's lullaby, 

In the bell of a church

And the melody of the birds, 

Lies innate silence, 

The language of the universe!
