SHE

SHE

She was like water

She had a fierce soul that rampantly roared

Turning the world upside down on her way

Sometimes the cold froze her to ice

Sometimes the flames boiled her to vapors

But never could her wild spirit be tamed

Then came a stranger

With promises in his words

And sparkles in his eyes

She lost her track, she bent and mended

And she fell from a high

Shattering every drop of her into into a million more

And suddenly she was a no one

She was not some exquisite package of vintage wine

She was just water

She couldn't even stain a dress if she got spilled over

People needed her, but seldom wanted her

Yet she abided by, tended to their every need

That is how her soul got trapped

In eternal loops of endless time.
