Tragedy

She Was Just A Little Girl...

She Was Just A Little Girl...

That innocent little girl, she was a courtyard bud,

Was the apple of the eyes of her parents, she was born with aspirations.

Whose innocent acts use to make their day,

Whose smile used to melt even a stone portrays.

Seeing her innocence, sadness turned into a smile,

Who had seen only five springs of life?

This injustice was done to her, how these were the accounts of the law?

What kind of torture happened to a five-year-old girl?

How much she must have cried when was oppressed?

What kind of country was helpless?

My heart bursts, how would that mother have slept?

Let me tell you what the rapes say... Because of clothes!

How to tuck a sari on a five-year-old girl?

If we do not improve even now, then one day it will come,

When even God will be scared to give daughters to this world.
