The Stronger Me

The world is coming apart at the seams,

Troubles standing like an adamantine rock.

Could intuit my worries and doubts,

Bringing my mind to the knees.

Realizing that the 'Dunkirk Spirit' I needed,

Was always in me all the time.

Trying to walk on my own,

Whispering silently to the secrets in my wardrobe.

Kept banging like the waves of the ocean,

Hard chest pushed me back,

Setbacks making me more stalwart.

Gathering courage,

Kept coming back again and again.

Finally!

When the dust was washed away by the mirror of truth,

The effect of my efforts started showing colors.

The stream of light started illuminating my path.

Feeling stronger than the wind,

Feeling deep-seated than the fire of the strongest hit.

Embellishing a lot more 'Herculean' than pain may feel;

Becoming the 'Everest' to the people's condescending remarks;

Becoming inspirational than the captious hollow rules.

Pain is no longer in my ticker;

I myself behoved to be a chaperone,

Who has gone through many difficulties.

I know I can and I'm sure I'll...

Flow like a stream of light;

Because tomorrow is my pinnacle.
