Shallow Friends!

Oh how they abound,

In times of joy, they're always around.

But when troubles come and hardships mount,

Their true colors show, and they quickly count

The cost of sticking by your side,

And oftentimes, they choose to hide.

They'll smile and nod and say the right thing,

But when push comes to shove, they'll take wing.

Their loyalty is fickle, their love is thin,

And when the going gets tough, they'll rarely win.

So hold tight to friends who are true and deep,

Who stick by you through the highs and the steep.

For when life throws you its toughest test,

It's the ones who love you that will give you their best
