Seeing Yourself With Devotion....

I crossed many hurdles,

Just to know,

That there might not be a person for you to cuddle,

But your own-self to express and show;

Learning to love yourself,

Becomes difficult for those, who kept others before themselves...

It was a bit confusing at first,

As if it was a puzzle,

It was a bit irritating to understand,

That this world is full of fake concern,

When you were in trouble, none was there to stand,

Not ready to lend you a hand,

What they did was only demand,

To not show your tears, as no one here cares...

Only yourself for your thoughts to be shared.

How others see you does not count,

The way you see yourself matters;

Making yourself feel that you are 'unique' and 'special',

The happiness you feel is not casual,

It's something, that is beyond the usual;

Taking care of yourself may not be liked by others,

But that's not what matters,

The only thing that matters is your own serene nature,

Which comes only when you are happy.

So learn to love yourself

And others will learn to love you.....
